To secure your reservation, the total amount of the reservation will be charged to your Credit Card. Only one discount will apply to the reservation and must be taken at the time the reservation is made. Please review the charge summary for accuracy and contact us if a change is required.

Special Assistance and Dietary Needs: Guests needing special assistance and/ or dietary needs, please advise staff in advance of your arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We are a Smoke-Free Bed & Breakfast. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, which includes not only the guest rooms but the hotel grounds and patio. Smoking includes tobacco, marijuana, herb substances, and vapor cigarettes. This extends to candles and incense burning as well. Guests smoking in rooms will be charged a minimum of $250 for extra room cleaning and fumigation. The final charge will also include all actual costs plus any lost income for extended cleaning days.

We ask for "quiet time" for our guests between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Guests generating excessive noise or bothering other guests will be asked to leave the B&B immediately and held responsible for the entire amount of their stay. Guests are responsible for appropriate and polite behavior and demeanor. If damages occur during your stay, you are responsible for excessive cleaning and repair.

Guests violating standard policies as stated here, will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

As an independently owned and family operated Bed & Breakfast, cancellations affect us dearly. We understand that plans change at the last minute and emergencies happen. We hope you understand that, as a small B&B with limited room availability, we must adhere to the following cancellation policies.
1) Please let us know seven days before your arrival date of any cancellation or within 24 hours of your booking.
2) Full refunds will be issued for cancellations two weeks prior to your booking.
3) Full refunds will be issued for cancellations 1 week prior to your booking only in the event that we have been able to re-book your room to other guests.
4) Reducing the length of your stay, the number of rooms or the value of the original reservation is regarded as a cancellation.
5) No refunds will be made for NO SHOWS or EARLY DEPARTURES.

A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase. Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

The Husum Riverside Bed & Breakfast caters primarily to adults with a maximum of 2 adults per room. The rooms are not set up for children, however; two of our rooms are large enough to accommodate a portable bed or floor sleeping bags if brought by the guest. Please call to discuss any special family sleeping needs.

We do have a resident BnB outdoor guard cat named Oliver, but as much as we love our animal friends, our facility is not set up to accommodate guests' pets. Please let us know in advance if you have need to bring a certified service animal. We can also assist you in locating a pet boarding option in case you are traveling with your four-legged friend.
