Dining at the Inn
We are very GREEN! We feature locally grown and produced food . We use meat and eggs only from free range, natural sources, wild caught salmon, local wild mushrooms, and feature seasonal fruit and vegetables from local producers. We user only compostable disposable containers. We know you will enjoy our fresh ingredients.
Breakfast:
A European style buffet comes with every room booking (except where continental breakfast is indicated) and includes an assortment of seasonal fresh fruits with yogurt and whipped cream, European meats and cheeses, gravelox (Alaskan salmon), various pastries including our homemade cinnamon rolls and muffins, breads and hot eggs dishes using eggs from my own free-range happy chickens (see gallery photos). Our coffee is locally produced fresh ground, we have a large selection of gourmet teas, and 100% juices. Guests regularly tell us "this is the best B&B breakfast we ever had". No one goes away hungry and everything is healthy. We will cater to vegetarian or other special diets with advance notice.
Ice House Cafe and Bar:
In 2009, we opened the restaurant on site for lunch and dinner. Our menu features heart-healthy and delicious Mediterranean dishes with plenty of meat and vegetarian choices (View 2010 Lunch Menu and 2010 Dinner Menu). Our 2010 menu will feature an array of tapas and will be posted soon.
Starting in 2009, we offered live music on Friday and Saturday nights and will be expanding our list of performance musicians in 2010. We feature acoustic, jazz, and world beat or ethnic music. Come sit in the shade in our brick garden patio or cool off in the Ice House Bar and satisfy your heart and soul through a great atmosphere, delicious food, and heartfelt music.
